Sept. 8th & 9th Axe Making Class *private - invitation only event*

In this class you will use hand techniques to make a throwing axe. Each step of the way will be demonstrated beforehand and after you will work in pairs as a striker and director to forge your axe. You will also grind, harden, hang your handle and sharpen your axe. Axe throwing will be on the second day if time allows!

  • All tools and materials are included
  • You keep what you make!
  • Learn to throw on the 2nd day if time allows
  • Class starts at 9 am to 5 pm (or until you tap out)

This is a private event and limited to 10 forging stations* 

What to bring:

  • Wear non-synthetic clothing such as jeans and a cotton t-shirt. Leather boots, ideally steel toed, are preferred. Keep in mind you will be getting dirty, so it's best to bring old clothes.
  • Safety glasses
  • Food & drinks (there are restaurants close by) 

Our facilities have a washroom and fridge/freezer. On-site camping is available.

Please note: You will be required to sign a waiver before beginning the class.
